From Theory to Practice: Regenerative Tourism Comes Alive in Reus
We just wrapped up an incredible Learning, Teaching, and Training Activity (LTTA) as part of the AGORA Regenerative Tourism project in Reus, Spain. This immersive workshop brought together European partners to exchange knowledge, explore regenerative tourism strategies, and co-create sustainable tourism experiences.
Hosted by the amazing team at DomSpain, the workshop was filled with invaluable learning experiences and real cultural immersion. Special thanks to our hosts for their flawless organisation, 24/7 dedication to our comfort, and for offering us a taste of Reus’ cultural gems, including visits to the Interactive Gaudí Museum, Casa Navàs, and the Museum of Vermouth.
During the sessions led by the Bulgarian Association of Wine Professionals, we first presented Module 6, which is dedicated to practical tools for co-creation and collaboration. This was followed by a hands-on session using the SCAMPER tool, where participants worked on service blueprinting and redesigning tourist experiences. The interactive activity demonstrated how SCAMPER can help visualise services and find innovative, sustainable solutions in regenerative tourism.
It was a productive and inspiring week, packed with theoretical insights and practical activities. We’re now energised and ready to bring these ideas to life in our local workshops in the project's next phase.
We’re excited about what’s ahead in the AGORA project as we continue to work together to create a more sustainable, community-led tourism future.
