New BAWP Erasmus+ mobility project!

We are pleased to announce that the Bulgarian Association of Wine Professionals (BAWP) has received funding for its new mobility project under the Erasmus+ program:
"From vine to visitor: Advancing climate-resilient winemaking and sustainable wine tourism"

Following the success of our previous project and what we learned from the winemakers in Piedmont, we continue to expand the knowledge and skills of BAWP experts in the field of sustainable wine production and wine tourism. Our next destination will be the wineries of Catalunya in Spain.

In partnership with DomSpain we will conduct working shadowing and training to study sustainable models and innovative tourism examples applicable to Bulgaria.

Project objectives:
– Deepen participants' practical knowledge and hands-on experience in climate-resilient and sustainable winemaking.
– Explore and integrate wine tourism as a strategic tool for promoting sustainability and educating the public on environmental benefits.
– Enhance teaching methodologies for adult education in winemaking and wine tourism.
– Foster European collaboration and exchange of best practices in sustainable winemaking and wine tourism.

Follow our pages, where we will actively share news about the project, what we have learned, and inspiring examples!
